Our tour begins in Fort Kochi, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Explore the charming streets of this historic city on a traditional tuk-tuk ride, soaking in the sights and sounds of its colonial past. You may also choose to witness a captivating Kathakali performance, a traditional dance-drama that brings Kerala’s rich cultural heritage to life.

Next, we cycle to Thattekkad, a birdwatcher’s paradise. Spend a peaceful afternoon kayaking through the lowland forests, surrounded by the melodies of local birdlife. The following morning, embark on a nature walk to spot diverse bird species and explore the region’s lush flora.

From Thattekkad, our journey continues to Munnar, a hill station famous for its rolling tea plantations. Before reaching Munnar, cycle through the picturesque forests of Neriamangalam. Once in Munnar, we transfer to Rhodo Valley, where the thrilling Meeshapulimala trek awaits. Walk through Shola forests and vast grasslands, and take in the breathtaking panoramic views. Visit the Tea Museum to learn about the region’s tea-making history and enjoy a leisurely market stroll.

Next, we cycle to Suryanelli, passing through the stunning Lockhart Gap and tea estates. In the evening, a plantation walk offers a chance to savor the aromas and flavors of the region’s produce. Our adventure then takes us to Shantanpara, where we embark on the Papathy Shola Trek, meandering through cardamom plantations and traditional villages.

As we cycle through the scenic Cardamom Hills, we reach Thekkady. Our next stop is Vagamon, where we cycle through serene hills and meadows. You may opt for a nature walk and a refreshing stream bath to truly connect with Kerala’s natural beauty. From here, we head to Alleppey, with a short downhill cycling route through vibrant farms. Spend the afternoon kayaking through the peaceful backwaters, taking in the beauty of Kerala’s famous waterways.

Wake up to a magical morning in Alleppey as we embark on a backwater village kayaking experience. Witness the traditional lifestyle of the locals before boarding a houseboat to cruise through the tranquil rivers and lakes, soaking in the idyllic scenery.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Fort Kochi
Activity: Arrival, Pickup from Airport, Transfer to Hotel, Sightseeing in Tuk Tuk, Optional Kathakali Performance Show
Meals: Breakfast
Upon your arrival in Kochi, you will be greeted at the airport and escorted to your accommodation. It will be an hour's drive to reach the Hotel in Fort Kochi. After you settle down and relax, the bike fitting is scheduled. Afternoon we will explore the city in a Tuk Tuk , a fantastic way to soak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere and rich history! Enjoy the scenic views and Chinese fishing nets of Fort Kochi beach. Visit St. Francis Church, The oldest European church in India. Explore the Jewish history and heritage in Jew Town. You will also have an optional Kathakali Performance Show.
Day 2: Cycling to Thattekkad
Activity: Cycling to Thattekkad, Afternoon Kayaking through lowland forests
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today, after a fulfilling breakfast, you will be driven to the starting point of your cycling ride. From here, you will start cycling to Thattekad, known for its rich avian diversity, including endemic and migratory bird species. The route covers 50 km and consists mostly of flat backroads with a few easy climbs, passing through lush plantations, irrigation canals, and villages. Along the route, you will see plantations of rubber, pepper, nutmeg, banana, and pineapple. Once you reach Thattekad, you will check in at a riverfront camp. Later, you will embark on a kayaking ride through the lowland forests of Thattekad. You will paddle along the banks of the Periyar River, a prime habitat for birds of various species. After kayaking, you can relax at the nature camp, which will provide you with an opportunity to experience the night vibes of Thattekad
Day 3: Cycling to Munnar
Activity: Morning Nature Walk, Cycling through forests of Neriamangalam and Transfer to Munnar
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
You will be starting your day with a nature walk, you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and the soothing sound of nature. During your walks, you may spot various birds in the region. After the breakfast, you will embark on a cycling journey of 50km covering through the forests of Neriamangalam known as Gateway to the High Ranges. The route consists of climbs and varying terrains, passing through dense forests, and winding roads. The dense forests, river streams and occasional waterfalls create a picturesque landscape. After cycling, you will be driven to your accommodation in Munnar. You will be passing through tea plantations and winding roads, encountering breath taking views of the valleys and waterfalls of the western ghats along the way. You will be staying at a hotel that offers a comfortable retreat after a day of cycling and travelling.
Day 4: Meeshapulimala Trek
Activity: Transfer to Rhodo Valley, Meeshapulimala Trek through Shola Forests and Grasslands, Visit Tea Museum and Local Market Walk
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today, after a hearty breakfast, you will hop into the jeeps and ride to the starting point of your trek. You will start your trek from Rhodo Valley. The valleys are covered with grasslands, pine trees, flowers, and small rivulets. Further into the trek, you will head to Meesapulimala, the second highest peak in South India, well known for its typical shola forest and grassland ecosystem. During the trek, you may have the chance to see Nilgiri Tahr, endemic to the Western Ghats, and small rivulets with freshwater along the way. As you reach the peak, you will be able to see a great view of the valleys. After the trek, we will drive back to Munnar. You will visit the tea museum in Munnar, a great place to learn about the history and process of tea production in the region. After that, you will go for a walk through the local markets to experience the town's culture and everyday life. After the day's exploration, you will head back to your hotel.
Day 5: Cycling to Suryanelli
Activity: Cycling to Suryanelli through Lockhart Gap and Tea Plantations, Evening Plantation Walk

Today after breakfast you will be cycling towards Surynelli covering 30kms through hilly and undulating terrain of Lockhart Gap offering an exhilarating experience, stunning views of the Western Ghats, tea plantations and scenic landscape. As you cycle, you will ride through expansive tea gardens. The neatly lined tea bushes create a mesmerizing landscape, and you might even catch a glimpse of tea pickers at work, you will also be passing through the anayirangal lake a picturesque reservoir surrounded by lush green tea plantations, dense forests and rolling hills. You will be checking in to your accommodation and after some time will be going on an evening plantation walk.
Day 6: Pappathy Shola Trek
Activity: Papathy Shola Trek through Cardamom Plantations and Villages
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After having a hearty breakfast, you will be going for a trek through the thick cardamom plantations and Papathy Shola village, you will also visit the mountain dwelling aboriginals here, visit their temples and humble living in sync with nature. You will be covering 12kms of moderate hills, villages and plantations along your way. The trek offers views of rolling hills, dense forests, and sprawling cardamom plantations. Walk through vast stretches of cardamom plants, where you can learn about the cultivation and harvesting processes of this aromatic spice. Trekking through local villages allows you to interact with the indigenous communities, understand their way of life, and experience their culture firsthand. After the trek you will be staying at a resort.
Day 7: Cycling to Thekkady
Activity: Cycling to Thekkady through Cardamom Hills and villages, Spice Plantation Visit, Kalaripayattu show

Today, you will be cycling to Thekkady, covering 65 km of hilly and undulating terrain. You will see a scenic landscape covered with tea, coffee, and spice plantations. You will also pass through villages, offering you a glimpse into the cultural life of rural people. Visiting spice plantations in Thekkady offers an immersive experience where you can learn about the cultivation, processing, and uses of various spices that are integral to Indian cuisine and traditional medicine. The region is known for its lush landscapes and cultural experiences. In the evening, you will witness a Kalaripayattu performance, a traditional martial art form. You will be staying in a resort at the end of your day.
Day 8: Explore periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
Activity: Forest Hike and Bamboo Rafting in Periyar Tiger Reserve
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today you will be going for a forest hike and bamboo rafting in the Periyar Tiger Reserve, offering a unique way to experience the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. These treks are typically guided by trained tribal guides who have extensive knowledge of the forest and its flora and fauna. During the hike you will be covering 8 kms of hilly and forest terrain. The hiking trails take you through dense forests, grasslands, and alongside the Periyar Lake, Bamboo rafting on the Periyar Lake is a serene and unique way to explore the reserve. The rafts are made from bamboo and are manually propelled by local guides. The slow pace of the rafting allows for excellent opportunities to spot wildlife along the shores of the lake, including elephants, sambar deer, and occasionally, tigers. The Periyar Lake is home to a variety of bird species, making it a great spot for birdwatching. After the hike you will be returning to your resort.
Day 9: Cycling to Vagamon
Activity: Cycling to Vagamon along hills and meadows, Optional nature walk and stream bath

Today after a hearty breakfast you will be embarking on a cycling journey to Vagamon, covering 45kms of hilly and undulating route. The journey offers scenic views of hills, meadows, and lush landscapes. Vagamon is known for its lush meadows and rolling hills, providing a picturesque and tranquil environment. Continue to see tea gardens as you cycle through the hills. Spot small waterfalls and streams along the way. Today you will be staying at a resort in Vagamon.
Day 10: Cycling to Alleppey
Activity: Short Downhill Cycling along vegetable and pineapple farms and Transfer to Alleppey, Afternoon Kayaking through rivers and canals
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today, you will embark on a 30 km downhill cycling trip to Alleppey. Along the way, you will see pineapple, rubber, and vegetable plantations. After cycling, we will transfer to Alleppey. Upon reaching Alleppey, you will check into a traditional riverfront homestay. Later, you will go on a kayaking adventure in the backwaters of Alleppey, paddling through the canals and rivers. This allows you to see the villages and the life of rural people living on the banks.
Day 11: Explore the Alleppey Backwaters
Activity: Morning Backwater Village Kayaking and Houseboat Cruise through rivers and lake
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today, you will go for a sunrise kayaking experience in the backwater villages. As you pass through the canals and lakes, you will see rural life waking up, including fishermen casting nets and collecting fish. You will also witness a picturesque view of the sun rising. After completing the kayaking, you will board a houseboat that will carry you through the lakes and rivers while serving you local cuisine. This will provide you with an opportunity to experience the night vibes of the backwaters of Kerala.
Day 12 : Cycling to Marari
Activity: Cycling to Marari Beach through backwater and fishermen villages
Meals: Breakfast
Today, you will embark on a 30 km ride through flat terrain to Marari Beach, passing along the backwaters,paddy fields and coastal villages . The route offers a peaceful and immersive experience, allowing you to connect with the natural beauty and rural charm of the region. Upon arriving at Marari Beach, you will check in to a beach resort. The beach itself is very beautiful, where you can relax on the golden sands and take in the tranquil coastal views.
Day 13: Tour Ends
Activity: Tour Ends, Airport Drop, Farewell till next Adventure, Departure
