Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Pantnagar Airport – Transfer to Dhanachuli
Activity: Pick-Up from Pantnagar Airport (3-4 Hour Drive) to Hotel, Fixing bikes for the days ahead.

Upon arrival at Pantnagar Airport, you will be greeted by our team and driven to Dhanachuli, a charming village nestled in the Kumaon hills. The scenic drive, approximately 3-4 hours long, winds through pine forests and terraced fields, offering your first glimpse of Uttarakhand’s pristine beauty. Upon reaching Dhanachuli, you will check into a cozy boutique resort or homestay, where you can relax and soak in the fresh mountain air. In the afternoon, we will conduct a cycle fitting session, ensuring that your bike is adjusted for maximum comfort during the journey. A short test ride around the village will help you get accustomed to your cycle. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk through the village, interact with locals, and witness a breathtaking sunset over the Himalayas. The day ends with a warm welcome dinner, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Dhanachuli to Lambra – A Picturesque Ride Through the Hills

After an early breakfast, we begin our first long cycling journey towards Lambra, covering approximately 50 km. The route takes you through winding mountain roads, offering panoramic views of the valleys below. The ride is a mix of gentle climbs and thrilling descents, making it an exciting challenge for cyclists. Along the way, we will take short breaks at scenic viewpoints, where you can capture stunning photographs of the Himalayan peaks. A lunch stop at a local eatery provides an opportunity to enjoy traditional Kumaoni cuisine. By afternoon, we arrive in Lambra, a peaceful hamlet surrounded by forests. Here, we check into a charming guesthouse or homestay, where you can unwind after the ride. The evening is free for exploration, and you may choose to walk around the village, interact with the locals, or simply relax with a cup of tea while enjoying the view. A delicious home-cooked dinner awaits you before you settle in for the night.
Day 3: Lambra to Binsar – Cycling into the Heart of the Forest

The third day of our tour takes us from Lambra to Binsar, a 55 km ride that is both challenging and rewarding. After breakfast, we set off through dense oak and rhododendron forests, experiencing the crisp mountain air and the tranquility of nature. This segment of the journey involves a combination of gradual ascents and some steep climbs, testing endurance while offering stunning views at every turn. We pause for lunch en route, either at a small café or with a packed meal. By late afternoon, we reach Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, a pristine forest reserve known for its rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, we check into an eco-lodge or a forest guesthouse, where you can rest and refresh. In the evening, a short nature walk introduces you to the sanctuary’s incredible flora and fauna, with opportunities to spot birds, deer, and if lucky, a leopard. As the sun sets, the sky turns golden, offering an enchanting view of the snow-capped peaks of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchachuli. The day concludes with a hearty dinner by the fireplace, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the forest.
Day 4: Relaxation & Hiking in Binsar
Activity: Free day, Optional Hiking in Binsar

After three days of cycling, today is a rest and exploration day in the serene surroundings of Binsar. The morning begins with a leisurely breakfast, followed by an optional 4-hour guided hike to Zero Point, the highest vantage point in Binsar. The trek takes you through thick forests and opens up to breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. This is an excellent opportunity for nature lovers and photographers to capture the beauty of the region. After returning, you can relax at the lodge, read a book, or simply enjoy the tranquil environment. For those interested, we can arrange a visit to Kasaar Devi Temple, a spiritual site frequented by famous thinkers like Swami Vivekananda. The evening is free for personal exploration, followed by a delicious Kumaoni dinner at the lodge.
Day 5: Binsar to Kausani – Cycling Through Tea Gardens
Activity: Cycling through lush green forest/tea plantation and villages to Kausani

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today’s ride is a scenic 45 km journey from Binsar to Kausani, often referred to as the "Switzerland of India" due to its breathtaking views of the Himalayas. After breakfast, we cycle through lush green forests, picturesque villages, and expansive tea plantations, enjoying the changing landscapes. Upon reaching Kausani, we check into a hotel with panoramic mountain views. After lunch, we visit Kausani Tea Estate, where you can learn about tea cultivation and sample fresh organic teas. In the evening, visit Anasakti Ashram, a place where Mahatma Gandhi once stayed, and enjoy a mesmerizing sunset view over Nanda Devi and Trishul peaks. Dinner is served at the hotel, followed by a peaceful night’s rest.
Day 6: Kausani to Ranikhet – A Ride Through Pine Forests
Activity: After Breakfast cycling through a scenic Hill Station, Mixture of downhill streches and passing through dense pine forest and Apple Orchards to Ranikhet
Hotel: Windsor Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, we embark on a 60 km ride to Ranikhet, a scenic hill station known for its colonial charm. The route is a mix of moderate ascents and downhill stretches, passing through dense pine forests and apple orchards. Along the way, we stop for lunch at a local dhaba, enjoying a meal with a view. Upon arrival in Ranikhet, we check into a heritage hotel. The evening is free for exploration – you may visit Chaubatia Gardens, Jhula Devi Temple, or the Kumaon Regimental Museum, learning about the town’s history and natural beauty. The day ends with a cozy dinner at the hotel.
Day 7: Ranikhet to Jim Corbett – Into the Wild
Activity: Cycling to Jim Corbett, Mostly downhill. Evening visit to Garjia Devi Temple
Hotel: Corbett Platinum Heritage
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today’s 70 km ride takes us from the hills of Ranikhet down to the plains of Jim Corbett National Park. The journey is mostly downhill, making it an enjoyable and fast-paced ride. We cycle through picturesque valleys and riverside roads, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. After lunch near Ramnagar, we check into a jungle resort near Jim Corbett National Park. In the evening, we visit Garjia Devi Temple, located on the banks of the Kosi River. After dinner, relax at the resort, listening to the sounds of the forest.
Day 8: Morning Jeep Safari & Departure to Pantnagar Airport
Activity: Early Morning Jeep Safari in Jim Corbett National Park. Drop off to Pantnagar Airport
On the final day, we wake up early for an exciting jeep safari in Jim Corbett National Park, the oldest national park in India, home to the Royal Bengal Tiger, elephants, deer, and over 600 bird species. The safari takes us deep into the jungle, offering a thrilling chance to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. After the safari, we return to the resort for breakfast before departing for Pantnagar Airport. The 3-hour drive* marks the end of our incredible cycling adventure, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Uttarakhand’s landscapes, culture, and wildlife.
