We spent 8 days mountain biking, kayaking and trekking with Sujith and his team and it was uniquely beautiful. Great selection of tours off the beaten track, brand new mountain bikes (Trek, 29 inch, hardtail), exciting trekking tours with sunrise and elephant encounters and, last but not least, entertaining kayak tours with bird watching. The guides were always on time and very helpful and accommodating. The accommodation and food during the tours are top! Absolutely professional and a recommendation. By the way, we booked through Chalo Reisen, Sarah Appelt. Here too a clear recommendation. Very helpful, competent and always available if questions arise!

Great time for my family. We went on a 6.30am kayak tour. It was peaceful and very enjoyable. The hosts made us feel very welcome and made our activity worth every minute!

The Rajasthan tour run by Francis was excellent, great bike options and Francis and the team provided excellent support and customer service. nothing was to much trouble and made the trip highly enjoyable. Look forward to do another tour with them in the future

Most people take a motorized boat tour through the backwater canals, but Kayaking was such an amazing experience. It was quiet and peaceful and we felt like we really got a feel for local life along the canal. Sujith and his partner were amazing guides! We loved their laidback energy and how they told us - candidly - about everyday life. It didn't feel like a scripted tour, but rather that we were hanging out with a couple of new friends. We even made an impromptu stop at a local Toddy to try some coconut beer. A really great experience!

We had a wonderful bicycle ride with Francis. Got to see a lot of places, inside Fort Kochi and more in the beautiful coutryside. We even got to visit som og his relatives, and had som food and drinks there. Lovely. Francis was a very pleasent and fun guy to interact with.

Cycling through Kerala with Offbeat Adventures was one of the most awesome travel experiences I ever had! From the get-go Sujith & Francis were extraordinarily accommodating in the planning of our custom tour - even as we had to do last minute changes. And the tour itself was in all regards simply perfect: Sandosh was an incredibly friendly, fun and thoughtful guide, the bikes were excellent (disk brakes, perfectly maintained), the accommodations were great and every little detail was taken care of for us - from the spontaneous tour to the spice garden, to the bottle of coke in the support vehicle that fueled our climbs in the cardamom hills. And while I was impressed by the great, traffic-calm cycling roads we took, I was particularly grateful for the thoughtful attention paid by the guide in the support vehicle to keep us cyclists safe on the busier roads by driving closely behind us. Thank you to the entire Offbeat Adventure Team for this great experience! We will be back 🙂

I’m unbelievably surprised how beautiful Kerala, India is thanks to Off Beat Adventures for showcasing the best Kerala has to offer in a 10 day bike, hike, and kayak tour! The immersion in Indian culture too was phenomenal too! Got to visit the Madurai temple, watch Indian traditional dances and martial arts, took a spices tour, and even rode an elephant!! Sujith, Francis, and Assif are a perfect team to handle your trips around India!!! I plan to go back again!! 🥰🥰🥰

The whole experience from start to finish was 10/10. We liked the look of the 4 day trek in the South Ghat's but also wanted to add in a safari. This was no problem and Sujith and Francis helped to tailer our trip to locations and activities that suited our time frame. Amazing mountain views and treks in places that would be very hard to organise without local knowledge from Francis showing us all the best spots in each location. Highly recommend offbeat and will be back for another trip!

I only had 24 hours in the backwaters and this was a perfect way to experience and get emerged in it. I absolutely loved paddling around the backwaters, observing and interacting with the locals, and taking in the beautiful scenery and seeing incredible birds. My guide was perfect - knowledgeable and friendly. I also really appreciated being able to flex the length of the tour based on my preferences. Another highlight was the incredible lunch cooked and served on route by some locals. It was one the best meals I had in Kerala. I'm glad I met this tour operator and plan to do a two week tour of three southern states with my family.

An absolutely incredible experience. Offbeat Adventure managed to put an incredibly memorable customized trip together for me in a matter of days, when all I asked for was “an adventure”. I traveled to India by myself and spent a week with them riding a Royal Enfield around Kerela. Sujith and Francis became friends rather than just guides- they took me to delicious local restaurants (taught me how to eat with my hands), introduced me to their friends and family and were always available for assistance or recommendations- to myself and everyone else around. I would highly recommend Offbeat Adventure to anyone looking to travel India- whether it be by Motorcycle, E-bike or foot. I’ll definitely keep in touch with them and hopefully travel again with them in the future.

Wow, what a fabulous experience. Francis, Sujith and Asim will guide you, treat you like gold and expose you to the area like you could never have imagined. You'll cycle through rubber and tea plantations, up hills and down dales, eat, drink and see local, go to the beach, swim in streams and I could go on and on. We did a great three weeks long tour through the South of India with two persons only.. Everything was well planed by Offbeat Adventure, Francis was an excellent tour guide. I have done several tours with him some years ago, also in the North. This tour was done in Oct/Nov. Weather was nice and warm, the selection of hotels, Swiss tents and homestays was very well done and a fine mixture of getting connected with the culture and population. The bicycles we have had for the tour fitted well and were good running in all situations. The guide and driver always respected and followed our wishes. When you are open minded, interested in the Indian landscape and culture I would recommend Francis and his organisation. You will get a list of hotels you will stay and can change this in advance. You will get what you have booked. Be surprised of the good roads of India and the fine hotels. Eine wirklich empfehlenswerte Organisation mit sehr gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Tolle Hotels und Strassen teils besser als im Ruhrgebiet. Man geht auf alle eure Wünsche ein.

Amazing trip. Sujith was really good at tailoring the adventure to exactly what we asked for. We felt in very good hands. Great views, lovely people, loads of interesting context on the culture, the area, how people live. The hiking is varied in a spectacular place. And the food was gorgeous. would definitely recommend.

My husband and I have just spent the most wonderful month cycling through South India with Offbeat Adventure. We combined two of their tours and they reversed the route of one of them to make a bespoke itinerary for us. We started in Chennai, following the east coast to Tranquebar then across country to Kochi then up the west coast to end in North Goa. All the arrangements we made in advance were easy; we could make requests for changes, approve all our accommodation and Sujith was very quick to respond to any messages. The bikes were great quality and well maintained. My husband brought his own saddle. We also had e-bikes as back-up, which I used sometimes, for when the going got steep. We rode together with Francis, who is a very capable guide, bike mechanic and all-round fun guy with a great sense of humour, who adapted our route to accommodate some additional spontaneous adventures along the way. We also visited his and Sujith’s families on our route and could not have been made more welcome. Our excellent support driver Santhosh also deserves special mention for some impressive driving, photography and sherpa skills on our occasional treks. We discovered so much along the way, including the surprising fact that Indian traffic is much less scary once you are on wheels and actually part of it. We found it more easy-going and less aggressive or threatening than traffic in London. We really cannot recommend Offbeat Adventure highly enough. Our trip exceeded all our expectations and we can’t wait to travel with the “dream team” again in Rajasthan next year.

I have been coming to Alleppey for 20 years and today I had the best experience ever. The guys took us on a great paddle through the backwaters of the "Venice of the East" This is a must do experience!

I just completed the Kerala back waters 6 day cycle tour and I honestly had the absolute time of my life. The tour was incredibly well organized, the support provided all along the journey could not have been better and every detail of what we needed was provided by Sujith and his team. I am from Canada and travelled a long way to be on this tour and this was easily one of the best adventures of my life as we saw so many different aspects of India and experienced Kerala in such a close and personal way. There is no better way to really get to know a place than to see it on a bicycle journey. Thank you Sujith and the whole Offbeat Adventure team for making our vacation so memorable. I would recommend this tour whole heatedly and hope that I too have the chance to participate on another tour.
