Kerala e-Bike Holiday

The exotic Kerala e-bike tour is a round-trip cycling tour connecting the most preferred destinations in Kerala within a week’s time. The itinerary offers the best chance to see the splendid landscapes of Kerala from backwaters, hills, and forests. You can also witness the humble culture of the region and taste the traditional cuisine. Guests will stay in heritage resorts and luxury resorts nestled in the lap of nature.

You will start from the Colonial city of Fort Kochi. Ride further towards the misty tea hills of Munnar. Here we will spend another day exploring the scenic hills and valleys on the e-bikes. We will continue our ride through the Cardamom hills of Shatanpara and the wilderness destination at Periyar – Thekkady. We will ride further through the folded rocky hills and meadows of Vagamon. Here, we will ride downhill to Alleppey to spend your day cruising the backwaters on the famed houseboat. You will ride further toward the fishing village of Marari to end the ride, spending the rest of the day along the pristine beach here.

Day 1: Explore the Heritage of Fort Kochi

Detailed: Our guide will meet you in Fort Kochi for a bike fitting, ensuring you are comfortable. We will then go on a sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi on e-bikes, exploring its rich heritage and vibrant streets. We’ll be visiting historic landmarks such as St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, and you can see the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets on the way. You’ll be seeing the architecture, blending colonial and traditional Kerala styles, as you ride through the charming lanes. In the evening, enjoy a mesmerising Kathakali performance, a traditional dance-drama known for its elaborate costumes and expressive storytelling. You will be staying in a heritage bungalow which will present to you the traditional style of architecture.

Day 2: Munnar

Activity: Transfer to cycling start point,transfer to Munnar

Along the way to Munnar, we'll experience the lush greenery, traditional homes, and friendly locals that characterise this beautiful region. After the ride, we will transfer to the stunning hill station of Munnar, known for its sprawling tea plantations, where you’ll get aroma of freshly brewed tea and breathtaking landscapes. At the end of the trip, you will be staying in a luxury hill resort providing you with a scenic view of the landscape.

Day 3: Munnar-Top Station

Detailed: Morning, we’ll explore Munnar on e-bikes, where lush tea plantations and misty hills awaits. As we pedal through picturesque landscape. We will cycle to Top station along the tea plantations, cascading rivers and scenic valleys passing by the tranquil Mattupetty Dam, a perfect spot for serene views and memorable photos. You can witness Munnar's tea-making legacy at the Tea Museum, learning about the art of tea production amidst scenic surroundings. And will finish our day by exploring the vibrant local market, brimming with spices, crafts, and local delights. This 45 km journey through hilly terrain is a blend of nature, culture, and adventure. After you completed today’s journey you will return to the resort.

Day 4: Thekkady

Activity: Cycling ,transfer to Thekkady

Detailed: Today You will leave for Thekkady. First you will cycle along the Lockhart gap and the picturesque anaerangal lake, further pedal through the Cardamom hill unique to the region, where each turn gives beautiful views and fragrant scents of Kerala have spices. Ride through challenging hills with twists and turns offer breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. Also, we’ll know more about Kerala’s spice heritage, region’s famous spices and their health benefits by visiting to a local plantation. This 50km ride is an unforgettable mix of excitement, natural beauty, and perfect for you, if you’re looking to experience the essence of Kerala first hand. Today you will be staying in an Eco resort located in the mountains which provide you with luxury as well as serene views.

Day 5: Vagamon
